Projects

Mind The Gap

Mind the Gap is a very simple board game where the first player that selects a tile next to one that they have already selected, loses. This game was entirely developed using Java and can be run using command line arguments on macOS, Windows and Linux.

Shawn's Adventure

This is a very simple game where Shawn, the little 2D character that you can see experiences different scenarios in a 2D world. The game was designed and built on the Unity gaming engine with the help of minor edits on C#. This project is still in the works, and upon request, a video can be provided.

Piggy bank

Piggy Bank is a simple server program where a client can connect to it and simulate the basic functions of a bank such as depositing, withdrawing, recording transactions, and verifying username and password of the user.

Inventory System

This was a project where I developed an inventory system for my high school's reprographics department. The system handled inventory of stationaries, requisition records, couriers coming in for students since it was a boarding school and having an automatic notification system for the students via email. The record keeping was done with the help of SQL DBMS, while the rest of the program was written in Java.

About Me

My name is Abdullah Raqib Muktadir and I am a 4th year Computer Science student from Bangladesh studying at the Memorial University of Newfoundland in St. John's, NL, Canada. All my life I have been interested in Gadgets and Gizmos, at the age of 16, I started to teach myself Java. As my interest for programming progressed, I realized that the fulfilment of making things that work just by typing up lines of code was enough for me to realize that I wanted to pursue Computer Science.
